What We Build On

At EUNOMA Clinic, we build on the principles of lifestyle medicine, according to which mental health is closely linked to everyday lifestyle. Sleep, stress, nutrition, physical activity, relationships, and substance use all influence one another and often create a cycle in which one problem reinforces another. This is why it does not always make sense to address just one isolated area, but rather to look for what holds the difficulties together.

These areas are interconnected – improvement in one supports balance in the others. We help you understand these connections to promote and sustain positive changes in your life.

Who the consultation is for

This consultation is especially suitable for clients who need clearer direction and at the same time want their situation to be viewed in context.
It is a good fit, when:

you are unsure whether to start with a psychologist, an addiction specialist, a dietitian, or which direction of psychotherapy to choose,
you feel that your difficulties are interconnected and you need a broader perspective that links the various factors,
you want to begin caring for your mental health in a sensitive, clear way, with a concrete plan for the next steps.

What the consultation will give you

By the end of the consultation, you will have a clearer picture of:

what is most important to address in your situation,
what type of support or direction of psychotherapy may be suitable for you,
the main connections and possible follow-up options for care,
whether it makes sense to continue with psychotherapy, psychological care, addictology, nutritional therapy, or a combination of these,
how many sessions and with which type of specialist are likely to be most beneficial in the first few months,
what to start with right away, and what can wait.

The output also includes an indicative plan with recommendations for the first few weeks to months. The goal is for you to leave with greater confidence, a clear direction, and the feeling that you know what the next step will be.

What to expect from the consultation

Many people do not just need “some specialist,” but above all a clear first step. That is why we have created a consultation that helps you find your way without pressure and without unnecessary guesswork.

How the consultation works

The consultation is based on a sensitive conversation and a structured mapping of areas that may influence your mental well-being. We also use our clinical questionnaire, which allows us to look at your difficulties in context.

Together, we map your current mental health difficulties, stress, overload and emotional strain, sleep and recovery, relationships and family context, work functioning and daily routine, habits and any addictive behaviors, eating patterns, energy levels and lifestyle, previous experiences with mental health care, as well as your goals, expectations and motivation for change.

What you will receive from us

The consultation includes not only a conversation, but also concrete recommendations. You may receive a brief summary of the main areas we have identified together, a recommendation for the most suitable type of specialist or combination of specialists, a suggestion for how often care could be scheduled at the beginning, and an indicative plan for the first 3 to 6 months.

The recommendations also include an overview of where to start and how the individual steps connect. If it makes sense to continue care directly with us, you can follow up with a specific specialist within the clinic.

When it makes sense to start

This service is ideal when you feel that multiple difficulties are piling up at once, you are not sure whether psychotherapy or another type of support is more suitable for you, you want to begin caring for your mental health in a thoughtful way, and you prefer a calm, human and clear entry into care. It is also a good fit for those who want the option to connect with multiple specialties within a single clinic.

Example of further care

Based on the consultation, we might recommend, for example, starting psychotherapy in a specific direction, complementing care with addictological support, working with a dietitian, or first focusing on sleep, daily routine and stress regulation. In some cases, it makes sense to combine several forms of support, depending on what is needed at the time.

Our goal is to understand your situation in a broader context, propose tailored care, recommend the appropriate direction and coordination of specialists, and ease your decision-making at a time when you already have enough on your mind.
